I bought my 3×4 electric ray sanding system almost 5 years ago (2019). I had been refinishing for just over a year and kept seeing other refinishers on Instagram using it. Abrasives
ProFoam pads
- 5mm & 10mm:
- for preparing surfaces that requires nice, consistent, even cutting, flat sanding
- works great for cabinet or furniture builders who must scuff sand into corners or opposing edges or sides
- can be used to sand detailed white wood beading on moldings
- 1/2″ SQUISHY
- an excellent choice for preparing any surface that requires soft flexibility to ride over profiles so as not to cut or burn through lines or finishes
Blizzard film
- are made with a polyester film backing
- are available in a range of grits (I stick with 80, 100 and 150)

Pad saver
- saves the red backup pad on your sander from premature wear
- increased the life of the velcro feet for continued adhesion between the abrasive sheet and the tool
- helps the tool glide softer on the surface when sanding
Interface pad
- use with your chosen film, sheet, screen, or sponge abrasive for surfaces with deeper profiles to increase the cut rate
- soft contact ensures no damage to appearance and edges while still giving excellent performance of the abrasive
