From the time I see a piece, I’m envisioning what it could be. I do lots of research Pinterest and check Facebook Marketplace and Kijiji to see what people are selling.
There is something so freeing (I’m not even sure that’s the right word!) about deciding the direction of a piece. Is it going to be a solid colour or two tone? Will I be sanding it? What will the hardware look like? Below are pieces I’ve transformed. As I do more pieces, I learn new things. And that’s my goal.
Each of these posts will have mainly pictures of the makeover. If there are some things that are different or I learned, I’ll note it. These projects have been done over the last few years. I name them so unique names so that I can remember where I got them from.
