Refinishing an MCM cherry wood 🍒table that I absolutely thought was walnut when I bought it!
The table appeared to be walnut but turned out to be cherry. The wood finish used was Osmo – Wood Wax Finish in Cognac, with Osmo – Polyx-Oil Clear in Satin as a sealant. Tools included sanders, scrapers, and brushes. The refinishing process involved sanding, applying the wood wax finish, and adding a coat of polyx-oil for durability. The long open time of Osmo products made the refinishing process more enjoyable. The finished table made a perfect housewarming gift!
